Acne Outbreak Causes

Acne is a result of overactive oil glands in our skin that can dry and hardened; forming blackheads that can occur on any parts of our body. However, the outbreak usually appears on the face, chest and upper body and in this case, it may produce a local bacterial infection and pimples.

Acne is the most common of skin disease, affecting 80 percent of the adolescent. Minority people escape their teenage and young adulthood without some pimples and blackheads. (Generally an adolescent is a person between 13 to 19 years of age, whereas an adult is between the ages of 20 and 40).

When it comes to Acne, it occurs in both sexes. Unfortunately Male Teenager and young Adult having higher androgens (Male Hormones) level are likely to have acne, which will be more severe than their female counterparts. Nevertheless, generally it clears of instinctively during their mid twenties. For females, they are more likely to suffer with ongoing skin problem and can be hanged around even in their mid thirties.

This skin disease also occurs in newborns or infants, and is often seen on the nose and adjacent portions of the cheeks; it usually peaks at around 2 months and rarely needs treatment.

Acne is also common seen among workers working in hostile chemical environment industries. People suffering from hormonal imbalance, such as female menstrual cycle and changes in the body at the onset of puberty may contribute to the formation of pimples during this period.

There is also an evidence of skin blemishes in relation to psychological changes. Those people who are under emotion and physical stress can cause a noticeable outburst that blemishes their appearance for a short time.

Other contribution factors can include the use of oil based cosmetic, the use of some prescription of drugs. Heredity; it runs in the family and often have other members in the family having develop the same skin disease. Additional contribution arises from improper nutrition and toxicity; it can happen to individual of all ages. Be aware of food allergies and dietary; avoid eating cooked oils such as in margarine. Food with soluble high fibre contents has positive control on the development of acne. Conventionally, all sufferers seeking remedies will go to dermatologist for medical treatments to solve their problems, usually all kinds of chemical creams and medication will be prescribed to treat the cause of the acne. Is this an effective solution?

I do not know about you, but for me I do not want to have to depend on some big drug company to keep my face radiant and healthy. Knowingly aware that depending on medication could not permanently get to the root cause and yet contributing big money monthly towards these pharmaceutical businesses.
