Listening to your employees should be done. You have to listen to your staff members so that you can know how they feel about the business. You should set up queries on a survey where the responses from the workers can be given anonymously. The queries should be well calculated and they should be about the business and its management processes. It will help the employees to state honestly their issues whether the like or dislike something in the company. Whenever you get the questionnaires back then it is time to read their responses and do as they suggest if possible. If the opinions of the workers are heard and acted accordingly to improve some areas then the employees feel appreciated and know that their opinions are valued. Productivity of your company will be enhanced by their improvement during work.
You should show your workers any review from a client. Whenever the workers get to know there was positive feedback from a client, either due to a certain worker or the company at large then they get encouraged, and their moods improve. Since the positive review was because of their work then appreciating them is the very least you can do. You should also tell them about the bad review which will help them to improve in the area they failed for better industry.
You should set a free boundary such that the employees will never fear to ask for help from you whenever they have no other way to use. The employees should have faith in you that you never turn your back on them whenever a work-related issue turns on. You should make sure that your managers are also approachable whenever the workers need help. Your willingness to help is what matters but not how much you help. The workers deductions get late whenever their employers pay them late. Hence, if they are paid in timely manner then they will appreciate since their deduction will be readily available.
A good work-life balance is attainable by the worker if you help them. Then you should provide two shifts to the workers that is morning and evening such that some workers can use the morning shift while others can use the evening shift. It will minimize the strain the workers could have when attending to their household duties. Their desire to work on your company will increase since their morale has been improved and then your company will yield better results.
